Schwab Hires a Wellington Alum

Charles Schwab Investment Management tapped Mike Hogan to oversee compliance. Hogan joined Schwab last month and reports to Bari Havlik, chief compliance officer for Charles Schwab & Co., according to company spokesman David Weiskopf.

It was not immediately clear who Hogan is replacing at Schwab.

Before making the jump to Schwab, Hogan was previously director of regulatory compliance at Wellington Management, where he spent a year and a half.

Wellington spokesperson Lisa Finkel declined to comment on how Hogan's duties are being handled or if the firm is seeking a replacement.

Earlier in his career, Hogan had worked at Brown Brothers Harriman for nearly 22 years.
