FRC Ends its Hunt for a CEO

Financial Research Corporation has hired Bruce Fador, a former top executive at Thomson First Call, as its CEO, a company insider confirmed to The MFWire. Mercatus' Robert Hedges Jr. and Teresa Epperson had provided interim leadership at FRC after Mercatus acquired the Boston research firm in November.

Fador will start at FRC on July 6.

Previously, Fador was chief operations officer at Decision Resources, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based data provider. He had also worked at The Street.com/Weiss Ratings and WorldStreet. From 1992 to 1998, he ran Thomson First Call.

Mike Evans, who had served as FRC's president, left in August of last year to join FRC founder Neil Bathon's new firm, FUSE Research Network.
