State Street Research & Management has included a tax resource center for its shareholders for their 2001 filings. The center will be available on the firm's website.

The center includes the following features:
  • capital gains distribution for State Street funds,
  • a guide to new tax regulations,
  • a tax checklist to identify important areas for filing,
  • access to Quicken,
  • and a FAQ.
"With the recent changes in the tax law, State Street Research wanted to create a valuable planning tool for our shareholders that would guide them through these changes and be a centralized resource to prepare for the filing season," stated Kevin Wilkins, executive vice president, retail distribution and corporate strategic planning for the firm.
