Thursday, March 5, 2009 Another Money Fund Prepares to Liquidate The Calamos Government Money Market Fund will soon be no more. The Naperville, Illinois-based manager revealed in a filing that it will liquidate the money fund on May 15 after closing it on May 1. Crane Data first reported the news, noting that the fund "was never able to break above the critical $1 billion in assets" since launching in May 2007.
