Thursday, January 15, 2009 Money Fund Assets Touch a New High Assets in money market funds climbed by $43.38 billion in the week ended Tuesday, bringing the total to a new record of $3.84 trillion, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing data from iMoneyNet's Money Fund Report. Inflows into taxable funds amounted to $40.19 billion and tax-free funds recorded inflows of $3.19 billion as yields fell steeply.
