Fidelity Taps a New PM for its Growth and Income Fund
Fidelity handed the reins of the $6.2 billion Fidelity Growth & Income Portfolio to 12-year company veteran James Catudal, according to an announcement posted on Fidelity's Web site. Catudal succeeds Timothy Cohen at the helm of the fund.
Reuters notes that the fund fell 50.9 percent last year, compared with a 37-drop by the Standard & Poor's 500 index.
Catudal will continue to run the Fidelity Advisor Growth & Income, the VIP Growth & Income Portfolio and Stock Selector Fund.
He previously worked at State Street Research and Management as an equity analyst.
