SSRM Adds Intermediary Tools

State Street Research & Management is building out the set of tools it provides to intermediaries. Part of the "Multiplier Program", the new tools are intended to help advisors identify their client's specific investing needs.

The kits are a response to a shift in the industry from product-driven to financial-planning driven marketing, the firm explained. State Street Research intends the kits to support intermediaries in their attempts to provide clients advice and planning tools.

"We are committed to helping financial professionals build their business and strengthen client relationships by offering a comprehensive package of tools and strategies that are customized to fit their needs," said Kevin Wilkins, executive vice president and head of investment services for State Street Research.

The first kit, Strategies for Wealth Management, covers estate planning, tax-managed investing and investing for income. It includes materials for seminars and client brochures.
