Monday, September 15, 2008 Lehman Nears a Deal for its Investment Unit Bloomberg has an update on the sale of Lehman Brothers' investment management unit, which includes Neuberger Berman. A deal could be reached in days, according to the report. Private equity bidders include Bain Capital LLC, Clayton Dubilier & Rice Inc. and Hellman & Friedman LLC. More than one of the private equity firms as well as executives from Lehman's investment management unit may take part in the transaction, the report stated.
