Monday, September 15, 2008 A Senior Legg Exec to Depart Mike Abbaei, executive vice president and chief information office at Legg Mason, is leaving the firm in November, according to an SEC filing from Friday. Abbaei informed the firm of his decision on September 9. A replacement for Abbaei has yet to be named, Legg Mason spokeswoman Mary Aldridge told The MFWire.
