UMB Appoints a Distribution Services Director
UMB Fund Services has hired Bob Tuszynski as senior vice president and director of distribution services. Tuszynski joined UMB last month and reports to John Zader, CEO of UMB Fund Services. Tuszynski's role is newly created, said company spokeswoman Sara Miller.
Previously, Tuszynski spent five years at CUNA Mutual, where he held posts such as vice president and product manager for mutual funds and managed accounts, and chief compliance officer. Before that, he was at B.C. Ziegler for more than 20 years, where he served in roles including president, CEO and director of Ziegler's North Track Funds.
At UMB, Tuszynski is in charge of Total Distribution, a distribution services product unveiled earlier this year.

MILWAUKEE, Sep 08, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- UMB Fund Services announces the addition of Bob Tuszynski as senior vice president and director of distribution services.
A key element of Tuszynski's new role will be management of Total Distributionsm, a new and unique distribution services product offered by UMBFS. Announced earlier this year, the product can provide UMBFS clients with a clear, concise picture of their most profitable financial intermediaries and ideal prospects. This product enhances UMBFS' suite of distribution services, which also includes statutory distribution, strategic and tactical marketing, and other sales distribution support services.

Tuszynski's most recent employer was CUNA Mutual Group, where he held roles as vice president and product manager for Mutual Funds and Managed Accounts, as well as chief compliance officer. Prior to his five years with CUNA, Tuszynski worked for more than 20 years for B.C. Ziegler, where he held a number of management positions, including president, chief executive officer and director of Ziegler's North Track Funds, Inc.
Tuszynski is a CPA and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 27 licenses. He has served in leadership roles with both church and community organizations, including local chapters of the American Heart Association and the YMCA, as well as coaching youth sports for more than 15 years.
