Wednesday, September 3, 2008 WAMCO's CIO Makes a Return S. Kenneth Leech has returned to Legg Mason's Western Asset Management following a health-related leave of absence. Pensions and Investments reports Leech now serves as an adviser. Stephen Walsh, has taken over Leech's former role of chief investment officer on a permanent basis (see MFWire April 25, 2008). P&I reports that Leech told his colleagues in a memo that his health has improved significantly, but he was still not up to performing all the tasks alloted to a CIO.
