Thursday, June 26, 2008 First Eagle Alums Prep Their Debut Funds International Value Advisers, the eight-month-old Madison Avenue investment shop populated by ex-First Eagle employees, has filed with the SEC to launch its first two mutual funds. The IVA Worldwide Fund and IVA International Fund will be available in Class A, C and I shares, with management fees at 100 bps. Charles de Lardemelle and Charles de Vaulx will take the helm of the funds. De Vaulx left First Eagle -- where he was the lead manager for four funds -- in March last year in surprise departure that prompted his predecessor, Jean-Marie Eveillard, to emerge from retirement and take charge of the funds.
