Thursday, December 27, 2007 WSJ Takes a Look at Which Long-Short Funds Flourished and Faltered In today's Wall Street Journal Fund Track column, Shefali Anand extended cheers and jeers to long-short funds. She singled out the Forward Long/Short Credit Analysis Fund, down 17 percent this year, as at the worst-performing of the bunch. Other long-short funds that have dipped this year include Analytic Global Long-Short fund, Robeco Boston Partners Long/Short Equity and DWS Disciplined Market Neutral fund. On the other end of the spectrum, Anand cited the Caldwell & Orkin Market Opportunity fund, which is up 33 percent this year.
