Monday, October 22, 2007 Aberdeen Files For First Open-Ended Funds Following it purchase last month of Nationwide's active asset management arm, (see, MFWire "Nationwide Gets Out of Active Management" September 18, 2007) Aberdeen Asset Management has filed with the SEC to launch its first set of open-ended U.S. mutual funds. The new funds are the: Aberdeen Mid Cap Growth Fund, the Aberdeen Select Equity Fund, the Aberdeen Select Small Cap Fund, the Aberdeen Select Growth Fund and the Aberdeen Select Worldwide Fund.
