XTF Appoints Sales and Distribution Head


XTF Global Asset Management has brought on board Tom Scuccimarra to spearhead sales and distribution efforts.

Scuccimarra joined XTF, an ETF-centric company headquartered on Wall Street, on October 15 and reports to Mel Herman, who became CEO of the company in August following the departure of Michael Woods (see XTF Names New CEO," August 10, 2007).

In an interview with The MFWire, Scuccimarra, who takes the title of senior vice president, said he is overseeing a team of 31 and added that the firm could be expanding that team down the road.

Scuccimarra was most recently principal of E2 Financial Distributors LLC, a Milford, Connecticut-based firm focusing on raising capital for hedge fund, private equity and insurance asset managers. Previously, he spent 10 years at American Skandia, where he served in a number of senior sales roles.
