Tuesday, October 16, 2007 WSJ: Institutional Investors Stock Up on Convertible Bonds In today's Wall Street Journal Fund Track column, Ann Keeton zeroes in on a Putnam mutual fund for convertible bonds, the Putnam Convertible Income-Growth Trust. The co-manager of the $800-million fund, David King, tells The Journal that institutional investors have been stocking up on convertible bonds with the recent turmoil in the stock and bond markets and added that retail investors might also want to consider such bonds.
