Integrity Introduces Total Return Fund

Integrity Mutual Funds has added a new fund to its line-up. The Integrity Total Return Income will be available for purchase as of today. The fund primarily focuses on equities, high-yield bonds and business development companies.

Integrity Mutual Funds, Inc. (IMFD.OB), a mutual fund and financial services company, announced today the offering of a new mutual fund, the Integrity Total Return Income (TRI) Fund (ITIAX), which will be available for purchase beginning today.

The Integrity Total Return Income Fund pursues a “total return” strategy to generate performance. The Fund seeks income and capital growth. The approach is designed to boost income and enhance the overall return potential of a diversified investment portfolio. Unlike traditional income funds, the Total Return Income Fund typically invests in a combination of “alternative” income securities. The Fund primarily focuses on Equities, High-yield bonds and Business development companies (BDC’s).

“We are always looking for new, innovative ways to generate more ‘total return’ for our shareholders and this Fund is an ideal way to diversify and energize your current asset allocation strategy,” said Mark Anderson, President and CEO of Integrity. “We continue to develop new products and strategies for investors and are proud to announce that this Fund will be managed by the team at SMH Capital Advisors, who also manage our Integrity High Income fund.”

The types of securities represented in the portfolio make the Fund appropriate for the more aggressive portion of fixed-income allocation. In addition to the Total Return Income Fund, Integrity Mutual Funds offers the tools you need to build an effective asset allocation strategy. The Integrity family of mutual funds includes a variety of equity and fixed-income portfolios, each managed with a goal of generating attractive, risk-adjusted performance.

Because BDCs typically invest in small and medium-sized companies, they are subject to the risks inherent in investing in small companies. Such companies may have a dependence on a small number of products or services, and they may be more adversely affected by poor economic or market conditions. High yield securities are lower-quality debt securities and are subject to greater risk of default or price changes due to changes in the credit quality of the issuer. Bond funds generally decline in value as interest rates rise.
