Wednesday, September 5, 2007 Aberdeen Names US Mutual Fund Chief London-based Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Vincent Esposito to the position of head of U.S. mutual funds. The position was created to consolidate the various aspects of AAMI’s mutual fund business, including closed- and open-ended funds, fund administration and fund distribution, Aberdeen officials said in a news release on Wednesday. “We are all pleased to have someone of Vincent’s experience, knowledge and leadership join our team. Vincent will greatly assist with the continued development of our mutual fund business," said AAMI chief executive Gary Bartlett. Esposito was most recently managing director and president of DWS Scudder mutual funds. A spokeswoman for DWS Scudder told the MFWire that Esposito left the company more than a year ago. She declined to say whether or not a replacement for Esposito has been named. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=15637 Copyright 2007, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
