Wintrust Purchases Wayne Hummer


Wintrust Financial Corporation is purchasing 100% of the Wayne Hummer Companies [Wayne Hummer Investments, Wayne Hummer Management Company (WHMC), and Focused Investments]. WHMC manages the four Wayne Hummer mutual funds.

Further, WHMC is an RIA. This unit's managed account business will be combined with Wintrust Asset Management Company's. The unit will continue to manage the mutual funds.

Both firms are based out of Chicago.
