Morningstar Names New President of Investment Services

Morningstar has tapped Kunal Kapoor as the new president of Morningstar Investment Services.

Kapoor, a 10-year Morningstar veteran, replaces Art Lutschaunig, who is leaving the company.

Most recently, Kapoor served as director of business strategy for Morningstar's international operations.

Joe Mansueto, chairman and chief executive officer of Morningstar, described Kapoor as an "outstanding leader who brings a unique set of skills to our investment services unit."

Since joining Morningstar in 1997, Kapoor has served in a number of roles, including fund analyst, editor of Morningstar Mutual Funds and director of mutual fund analysis.

"I'd like to thank Art for his efforts during the past four years as head of MIS and wish him the best in his new endeavors," Mansueto said.
