ICAP CEO Dies

Robert Lyon, Institutional Capital Corp.'s chief executive officer, chief investment officer and co-manager of three of the firm's funds died earlier this week at age 57. MarketWatch reports that no details are being disclosed about the cause, but Lyon had taken a leave of absence last week. ICAP, based in Chicago, was purchased last year by New York Life Investment Management. Jerrold Senser, who served as Lyon's co-manager, will take over his duties as CEO and CIO. Thomas Wenzel, currently a research director at ICAP, will be Senser's co-manager.
