The two other firms Fidelity worked with on the AdvisorCentral portal, Franklin Templeton and Putnam, have also moved on to other portals. Fidelity Investments today announced that it will be joining DST Systems' Vision platform, allowing financial advisors and their home offices to view their clients' Fidelity mutual fund account information online. Fidelity expects to make its information available on Vision later this year. DST Vision is an online aggregation site for mutual fund and variable annuity account data in the intermediary marketplace. The platform enables intermediaries to see a consolidated view of their clients' account information across more than 260 mutual fund and variable annuity companies. Fidelity's intermediary clients also will be able to continue using the company's own Web site, advisor.fidelity.com, as well as AdvisorCentral to view their clients' account information. Through DST Vision, advisors will be able to view Fidelity fund account balances aggregated across multiple fund families and detailed account history within a fund. They also will be able to access client statements, with the option of subscribing to quarterly downloads. "For many advisors, finding enough time in the day to focus on client service and account management can be a challenge," said Craig Huntley, executive vice president, Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company.
