Franklin Templeton to Join Web Platform

Franklin Templeton Investments will join DST Systems’ Vision platform. Franklin anticipates being live on Vision’s website by the end of 2007.

Franklin Templeton Investments today announced plans to join DST Systems’ Vision platform, providing an additional way for financial advisors and firm back office employees to access Franklin Templeton client account information online. The company anticipates being live on Vision’s website (www.dstvision.com) by the end of 2007.

“Over the years, many of our financial advisors and back office contacts have had to visit multiple websites to effectively manage all of their client accounts at various fund companies,” said Peter Jones, president of Franklin Templeton Distributors, Inc. “We are committed to providing financial advisors with tools they need to provide efficient service for their clients, and by joining DST Vision, we’re simplifying client account management for our advisors and home offices.”

DST Vision is an interactive website that gives financial intermediaries a consolidated view of their client accounts from over 260 participating mutual fund and variable annuity companies. Features include the ability for users to access detailed shareholder account and historical transaction information, group individual accounts into customized client portfolios, and view and print shareholder statements.

Offering access to DST Vision will present advisors with another option for viewing their client account information online. Franklin Templeton will continue to offer its client account and historical transaction information on AdvisorCentral’s platform (www.advisorcentral.com), as well as on Franklin Templeton’s financial advisor site (www.franklintempleton.com).
