Pimco's Gross Gets An Advantage (and Greenspan's Attention)

Alan Greenspan has signed on for a gig in the mutual fund business. The ex-Fed Chairman will advise Pimco bond manager Bill Gross, reports the Wall Street Journal. Greenspan will take part in a quarterly strategy session and speak to Pimco bond buyers as often as twice each week by conference call or email. Those conversations could include Fed rate policy. "Now that he's on the team, we would expect for him to be open and expressive in terms of his views," Gross told the paper.
