Good Press While Doom and Gloom Looms

Dan Fuss has done good in the fund business by saying there is no way to do good in the fund business. The WSJ reports some of his favorite sayings include "This guess is on very tenuous, very thin ice," and "Does anybody call the economy well? I don't."

As you might have guessed Fuss is a bond fund manger. He works for Loomis Sayles where he runs their $10.6 billion bond fund. Despite the positive press, PIMCO's Bill Gross doesn't have to worry about sharing the spotlight with Fuss, who is after all 73 years-old.
