Thursday, September 14, 2006 ICON Hires Wholesalers Two wholesalers have recently made a move to Greenwood Village, Colorado-based ICON Advisors. John C. Ivison and Sean P. Lally both joined the fund sponsor as regional vice presidents in its sales division. The hires will represent the firm's mutual fund, separate account and sub-advised variable annuity products. The firm, which is located near Denver, is the advisor to the ICON Funds. Lally will cover the Great Lakes region that includes Michigan and Illinois. The territory is a newly created one at ICON, according to company officials. Before making the move to ICON, Lally was a vice president in McDonald Investment's managed assets group. Meanwhile, Ivison will be based in Southern California and will cover that region of the nation. He was last a wholesaler for Sentinel Financial Services Company.
