Artisan Taps FundStation.Net


Artisan Partners has entered into an agreement with Confluence whereby the former will utilize FundStation.net. The service is designed to assist asset managers calculate after-tax rates of return for mutual funds. The tool can also be used to evaluate fund performance.

Other features of the system include that ability to transmit daily reports to investors, brokers, analysts, and advisors. Confluence officials maintain that FundStation.net's calculations conform to SEC regulations regarding the impact of taxes on mutual fund earnings. "FundStation.net is a simple way for mutual fund providers to follow the SEC's complex after-tax rule," stated Mark Evans, president of Confluence. "We update After Tax Returns continually to ensure that our customers remain in compliance with the latest SEC glosses on the rule."
