Thursday, August 10, 2006 Reynolds Loses Out on NFL Job The favorite won the NFL Commissioner's job -- and it was not Fidelity's Robert Reynolds. The Fidelity chief operating officer lost his bid for the top job in the National Football League to Roger Goodell, the longtime right hand man to current commissioner Paul Tagliabue. Goodell was the favorite going into the selection by the 32 team owners. Reynolds was named as one of the five finalists for the job last week.
