Monday, July 31, 2006 Alliance: Bernstein In, Capital Out The New York-based asset management company is changing the name of one of its subsidiaries. AllianceBernstein L.P. announced Monday that Alliance Capital S.A., its international manager based in Luxembourg, is now called AllianceBernstein, too. The firm's international mutual funds, ACM Funds, will also be renamed AllianceBernstein. Theses are simply the latest in a long line of name changes, all resulting from Alliance Capital's acquisition of Sanford Bernstein five years ago (in February, Alliance Capital Management L.P. became AllianceBernstein L.P. in the US.
