Wednesday, June 7, 2006 Georgia Fund Firm Draws From Seligman The Southeast sales director for New York-based Seligman Advisors recently went native, joining Norcross, Georgia-based Wells Real Estate Funds as managing director for mutual fund sales. Wayne Knowles will focus on boosting sales and assets for the firm's fund family, in what a spokesperson said is a new position. Wells has the first S&P licensed fund to mirror the holdings of the S&P REIT Composite Index, the S&P REIT Index Fund. Before Seligman, Knowles held executive positions at Morgan Stanley Asset Management and Van Kampen Funds.
