Tuesday, April 18, 2006 Franklin Templeton to Launch New Fund Franklin Templeton is registering a balanced fund with the SEC. Franklin Balanced Fund will invest in stocks, bonds, and convertible securities, with between 15 to 30 percent of its assets invested overseas and at least one quarter of the assets placed in fixed income securities, according to the filing. A shares will start out with an expense ratio of 106 basis points. A company spokesperson said that outside the filing, no additional details are available at this time.
