Thursday, March 9, 2006 Touchstone Brings Large Cap Fund to Retail A day after completing its acquisition of Constellation Funds, Touchstone Investments will offer a re-branded, retail version of one of Constellation's recently created products. The Touchstone Large Cap Value Fund will be sub-advised by John Schneider Asset Management, the Pennsylvania-based firm that previously managed the JSAM Large Cap Value 2Portfolio for Constellation. With the purchase of Constellation, Cincinnati-based Touchstone Investments now controls approximately $27.5 billion in fund assets. Rolled out last summer, the JSAM Large Cap Value Portfolio had been available only to institutional clients. Its normal minimum investment was $100,000. "As a result of our recent acquisition of the Constellation Funds Group, we're able to offer [Schneider's] investing expertise to both retail and institutional investors, and expand the range of f2unds in our current lineup," Jim Grifo, president of Touchstone Advisors, said in a press release. The Touchstone Large Cap Value Fund invests in a targeted group of about forty stocks, and seeks long-term growth from companies with improving fundamentals. According to the release, Touchstone will not seek to change Schneider's management style. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=11420 Copyright 2006, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
