Thursday, December 29, 2005 ABN AMRO Adds Mid Cap Fund There is a new fund in ABN AMRO's lineup. The Chicago-based fund advisor took the wraps of its Mid Cap Growth Fund this week. The fund will use an investment process modeled on that of the ABN AMRO Growth Fund, said Kenneth Anderson, president of ABN AMRO Asset Management. Richard Drake, senior managing director and director of Equity Research and the portfolio manager of the Growth Fund, will be the fund’s portfolio manager. Drake will find stocks with market caps between $500 million and $10 billion at purchase and it will use the S&P Midcap 400 Index as a benchmark. The no-load fund carries an initial minimum investment of $2,500 for N class shares and is being offered through a variety of investment platforms and financial advisors.
