Friday, December 23, 2005 Van Kampen Merges 1838 Fund One of Morgan Stanley's fund arms is leveraging an adoption to add a new international growth fund share class. Van Kampen Investments is converting the 1838 International Equity Fund into I shares of its International Growth Fund. The fund will retain its managers from the 1838 fund and investment objective. The portfolio managers are Hans van den Berg and Davif Sugimoto. Sugimoto and van den Berg joined Morgan Stanley in July after it adopted the 1838 Investment Advisors fund.
