Pope Decamps From SSgA

Christopher Pope is out at State Street Global Advisors. The head of sales and client services at the Boston-based fund manager was asked to resign, according to a report.

Penny Darcey is taking over Pope's duties, according to the Boston Globe. The paper quoted an "executive with knowledge of the change" as saying that Pope was asked to resign. SSgA did not comment on Pope's departure.

However, Pope told Pensions & Investments that his parting was "perfectly amicable."
