Friday, September 16, 2005 Eaton Vance Snaps up State Street Office Boston-based Eaton Vance is expanding the company headquarters to include another State Street location. Approximately 100 Eaton Vance employees will move from 255 State Street to 200 State Street, where the company has leased a 34,000 square foot space. More than 400 employees will remain working out of 255 State Street. "Since locating our headquarters to 255 State Street in May 1999, Eaton Vance has hired more than 200 additional employees," said Jeff Beale, chief administrative officer, in a statement. "The bulk of our operations will still be housed in one central location at 255 State Street, with a handful of departments now located a stone's throw away, diagonally across the street," said Beale.
