Monday, August 29, 2005 American Beacon Adds Subadvisors American Beacon Advisors have brought on another three subadvisors to manage its $3.1 billion American Beacon Small Cap Value fund. Joining the fund's five subadvisors are Dreman Value Management, Metropolitan West Capital Management and SSgA Funds Management. The information was disclosed in an SEC filing. Previously, the fund was subadvised by Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss; Brandywine Asset Management; Hotchkis & Wiley; Opus Capital and The Boston Company. The fund was closed in February of 2005. American Beacon officials stated that Barrow and Hotchkis have reached their capacity limit and will not manage any additional assets. Metropolitan West also subadvises American Beacon's Large Cap Value, while the Small Cap Value mandate marks the first subadvisory relationship between American Beacon and Dreman and SSgA.
