Manager Swaps: Fidelity, American Century & John Hancock ...


Fidelity has named James Morrow as the portfolio manager of its Fidelity Select Computers Portfolio, replacing Naved Kahn.

Morrow will continue to manage the Fidelity Select Technology Portfolio, the Fidelity Select Electronics Portfolio and the Fidelity Advisor Electronics Fund. He is also the co-sector leader of Fidelity's technology stock group.

American Century Investments portfolio manager Trevor Gurwich will now co-manage the fund firm's International Opportunities fund with current manager Federico Laffan.

Gurwich previously managed the Global Growth fund. Matthew Hudson will continue to manage the fund.

Raymond Kong left the firm on August 9 to return to Malaysia. He was a co-manager of the Emerging Markets fund. Michael Donnelly will continue to manage the fund.

John Hancock has hired away Christopher Perry from Turner Investment Partners. Perry joins John Hancock's Private Client Group as a vice president and analyst.

At Turner, Perry was a large-capitalization portfolio manager, leading the management of the Constellation TIP Financial Services Fund.

Wayne Sharp plans to leave Robeco at the end of the year, reports Morningstar. Sharp co-manages the Robeco Boston Partners Large Cap Value Fund with Mark Donovan. Donovan will continue to manage the fund with David Pyle.

Also at Robeco, Duilio Ramallo joins Harry Rosenbluth as a co-manager of the Robeco Boston Partners All Cap Value Fund. Ramallo replaces former co-manager Steven Pollack.
