Tuesday, August 2, 2005 Principal Adds Share Classes Principal Financial is opening up its institutional Principal Investors Funds to retail investors. The series of 33 subadvised funds each have A and B share classes for the retail market. The funds were previously only available to plan participants and institutional investors. The insurer's LifeTime Funds are also part of the Investors Funds series and will be available to retail investors. Principal Investors Funds subadvisors include: Alliance Bernstein, American Century, Columbus Circle Investors, Emerald Advisers, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Mellon Equity Associates, Neuberger Berman, Principal Global Investors, Principal Real Estate Investors, Spectrum Asset Management, T.
