Wednesday, July 6, 2005 Oak Plants an Acorn Oak Associates is adding a small cap, growth fund to its family. The Akron, Ohio-based fund firm launched the River Oak Discovery Fund (RIVSX) Tuesday. Robert Stimpson and Brandi Allen are the co-portfolio managers for the fund. Stimpson already co-manages the Rock Oak Core Growth Fund (RCKSX), while Allen co-manages Live Oak Health Sciences Fund (LOGSX). Twenty-year-old Oak Associates manages $5.7 billion in mutual fund, pension and endowment assets as of June 30, 2005.
