Mergers


On August 11, shareholders of the Federated InterContinental Fund will convene to approve or disprove the proposed plan for the Federated International Leaders Fund to acquire all the assets of the Federated InterContinental Fund.

The Board of Trustees of the Goldman Sachs Trust, at Goldman Sachs Asset Management has approved the reorganization of the Goldman Sachs Focused Growth Fund with and into the Goldman Sachs Concentrated Growth Fund, effective July 28.

On or around October 30, 2017 the Deutsche Gold & Precious Metals Fund will merge into the Deutsche Real Assets Fund.

Liquidations


On or around May 30, Federated Investments' Federated Managed Volatility Strategy Portfolio will officially liquidate after a meeting held with the Board of Trustees of the Federated Managed Pool Series on May 18.

Deutsche Asset Management has decided to liquidate the Deutsche Emerging Markets Frontier Fund, effective July 28. The fund will be closed to new investors by July 7.

Closing

AQR is closing two of their funds. The AQR Long-Short Equity Fund and the AQR Equity Market Neutral Fund are both set to close to new investors on June 30.

Fees

Rainier Investment Management has extended its operating expense limitation agreement for the Rainier International Discovery Fund for another year through July 31, 2018.

Rebranding



On or around July 18, the Oak Ridge Large Cap Growth Fund will change its name to the Oak Ridge Multi Strategy Fund.

Federated Investors will reposition its investment strategy of the Federated Municipal Securities Fund, effective July 27. Along with this repositioning, the fund will change its name to Federated Municipal Bond Fund.

On June 12, BlackRock's Master Large Cap Core Portfolio will undergo a name change. The new name will be the Master Advantage Large Cap Core Portfolio.
