Bob Reynolds has some suggestions for Congress. This week at a Wall Street Journal event in Washington, D.C., the Putnam Investments [profile] chief talked to reporters about what the business community wants to hear from policymakers.

"The greatest stimulus is certainty," Reynolds said on Tuesday, pointing to the looming fiscal cliff at the end of the year.

And Reynolds doesn't think the Federal Reserve can just swoop to Congress' rescue this time.

"You've run out of tricks from a monetary policy standpoint," Reynolds said.
