Fred Alger Management has hired John Curry to manage Alger's Money Market Fund, Castle Convertible Fund, and the fixed income portions of its Balanced Funds. Curry, who joins Alger as a vice president and portfolio manager, leaves a position at vice president at Janney Montgomery Scott and portfolio manager of Whitehall Asset Management.
