That's one takeaway from the third annual women in finance list from the Barron's folks, released this week. The publication's team considered a list of U.S.-based executives from across the financial services spectrum (as well as public servants, policy makers, and CFOs). As of this morning, Barron's has posted profiles of 10 women at the beginning (alphabetically) of the list, with more profiles to come.

Next up is BlackRock, with three winners: Anne Ackerley, head of the retirement group; Samara Cohen, chief investment officer for ETFs and index investments; and Carolyn Weinberg, global head of product for iShares and index investments.
