State Street Global Advisors [profile] is looking for a new leader for its intermediary business in North America. The job opened when Tony Rochte left to rejoin Fidelity Investments [profile] as president of a new division (see related story).

"A search for Tony's replacement is underway, and in the interim, the team will be led by Jim Ross, president and director of SSgA Funds management, Inc. and global head of SSgA's ETF business," according to SSgA spokeswoman Arlene Roberts in e-mailed comments to The MFWire.com.

Rochte spent six years with SSgA.
