Reported by Neil Anderson, Managing Editor

Fidelity [profile] just upgraded its iPad app to handle mobile deposits. Customers of the mutual fund giant's online brokerage can make an IRA deposit by taking a picture of the check using the app. Fidelity started accepting mobile check deposits for non-retirement accounts in May 2011.
