Jeff Gundlach DoubleLine Capital CEO

The one-time heir apparent at Societe Generale's TCW, "Mortgage Man" has hit the ground running after setting up his own shop in Los Angeles. In just the past seven months, Jeff Gundlach has launched the DoubleLine [see profile] family of funds to one of the fastest starts in mutual fund history and put together a team to support it. Those recruits include former TCW funds chief Ron Redell.

Gundlach also has a personal brand with advisors and institutional investors. He keynoted this year's Morningstar Investment Conference and has become a media celebrity.
