The
John Hancock Global Opportunities Fund [
see profile], whose managers have little faith in macroeconomic trends, takes the spotlight in today's
Fund Track .
Instead, the fund reportedly looks for cheap stocks in companies that dominate their markets, according to
Christopher Arbuthnot, a portfolio manager for
MFC Global.
So far, the $886 million fund is reportedly up more than 20 percent this year and has posted an annualized five-year return of 14.5 percent.
