In the first quarter this year, The Hartford's mutual fund business had net flows of $1.5 billion, as reported in the company's earnings statement released today.

Hartford is anticipating that number to contribute to a projected $3.25 billion to $5.25 billion of net flows for all of 2010.

Mutual fund assets under management totaled $97.7 billion at the end of Q1 2010, a 41 percent increase compared to $69.4 billion AUM at the end of Q1 2009.
