Kathy Murphy, who runs the personal investing division at Fidelity, is looking to boost fund sales over the Web. Murphy is looking for a head of Web strategy and distribution, an industry source told The MFWire.

The executive will report directly to Murphy, according to the source.

A Fidelity spokesperson was not immediately able to comment on the search.
